We do not sell personal data. Limited sharing occurs with service providers (infrastructure, analytics, email delivery) bound by confidentiality. Content you intentionally post (forum, listings) becomes visible to other verified users.

6. Data Retention
We retain data only as long as needed for active accounts and legal/compliance requirements. Inactive or closed accounts are scheduled for anonymization or deletion within a reasonable timeframe.

8. Cookies & Tracking
We use minimal cookies / local storage for authentication and session continuity. Optional analytics cookies (if any) will be disclosed with controls.
9. Student Verification Data
Verification artifacts (e.g., university email domain, ID metadata) are used solely to confirm status and prevent fraud. We avoid storing unnecessary ID imagery where possible.
10. Third-Party Services
Integrated services (cloud hosting, communication tools, analytics) process data under their own compliant terms. We vet vendors for security posture.
11. International Transfers
Where data crosses borders, we implement appropriate safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses) consistent with applicable regulations.
12. Children / Minors
The platform is intended for university-level students. We do not knowingly collect data from individuals below the minimum age for higher education enrollment in their jurisdiction.
13. Changes to Policy
We may update this Policy; material changes will be communicated via in-app notice or email. Continued use after updates signifies acceptance.
14. Account Deletion
You can request deletion of your Syinq account if you no longer wish to use the platform. Deletion is irreversible and permanently removes most personal data associated with your account.
How to Request Account Deletion
- From the App: Go to Profile → Settings & Privacy → Delete Account and follow the confirmation steps.
- Via Email: Send an email to support@syinq.com with subject line “Delete My Account” from the same email address linked to your Syinq profile.

Data That May Be Retained (Up to 90 Days)
Certain limited data may be retained for up to 90 days after deletion strictly for: legal or regulatory compliance, security & fraud prevention, or dispute resolution. After this period, any remaining personal data is permanently deleted.
