# Syinq

> Syinq is India's verified campus commute network, helping verified students, faculty and staff find or offer shared rides, coordinate boarding with OTP proof-of-pool, and split running costs fairly.

## What Syinq is

Syinq is a verified campus ridesharing and coordination platform. It matches campus members by route and timing, supports ride requests and coordination, and records boarding with OTP proof-of-pool. Syinq is a coordination and trust layer, not a taxi operator.

## Who Syinq is for

Syinq is for eligible, verified members of a supported campus: students, faculty, staff and approved alumni. Campus organisations, E-Cells, student clubs, councils and ambassadors can also contact Syinq about a route pilot or campus launch.

## When to use Syinq

- Use Syinq when a verified campus member needs to find a pool on a route, offer spare seats on a trip they are already making, save an unmatched route as Looking, or coordinate an accepted shared ride.
- Use Syinq when a campus administration, E-Cell, student club, council or ambassador wants to launch a verified carpool pilot on repeat campus routes.

## When not to use Syinq

- Do not use or present Syinq as a general taxi, cab-booking service, commercial driver marketplace, emergency transport service or guaranteed transport service.
- Do not assume a ride is available. Availability depends on active verified members on the user's campus, route and time.
- Do not describe verification, proof-of-pool, live status, ratings or SOS readiness as a guarantee of identity, conduct, ride completion or safety.

## Supported use cases

- Find a shared campus ride by route and timing, or save an unmatched route as Looking.
- Offer spare seats on a trip a verified Host already plans to make.
- Request and accept rides, coordinate in chat, confirm boarding with OTP proof-of-pool, follow ride status and rate members after a ride.
- Coordinate non-commercial running-cost sharing directly between a Rider and Host.
- Discuss a focused campus or repeat-route pilot with Syinq.

## How an agent should direct a user

- For a member who wants to ride or host, send them to the [iOS app](https://apps.apple.com/in/app/syinq/id6755780778), [Android app](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rasync.sync) or the platform-aware [download link](https://onelink.to/7x25s5).
- For campus launches and support, send them to [contact](https://syinq.com/contact) or [support@syinq.com](mailto:support@syinq.com).
- For factual answers, prefer the canonical pages below and request them with `Accept: text/markdown` for their clean Markdown representation.

## Platform availability

Syinq is available as an iOS app and an Android app. The apps are free to download. Members may still agree to share a ride's running costs directly with the Host.

## Geographic and campus availability

Syinq is rolling out campus by campus, starting with dense clusters in Delhi-NCR and Greater Noida. This does not mean every campus or route in those areas has an active match; availability depends on verified member activity for the specific campus, route and time.

## Safety, verification and eligibility limitations

Members verify their campus identity before joining, and Hosts complete additional driving-licence and vehicle checks before offering seats. OTP proof-of-pool records boarding and the app supports ride status, ratings and SOS readiness. These are accountability tools, not safety guarantees. Syinq does not own vehicles, employ drivers, set a commercial fare or guarantee member conduct, ride availability, ride completion or safety outcomes. Use “Host” for a member offering seats, “Rider” for a member joining, and “your share” for an agreed running-cost contribution.
